A new study revealed that GPT-4 generated higher-quality product ideas than engineering/business students from Wharton. It was also 40x faster, spinning out 800 ideas every hour.

GPT-4 performed even better when it was fed examples of good ideas using the following prompt:

What does this mean for marketers?

With endless ideas available, the valuable skillset has shifted from thinking of ideas to choosing the BEST idea. Build a rapid testing and feedback loop to gauge audience receptiveness, and double down on the content that stands out.
